LUMINOVIX TECHNOLOGIES · Maharashtra, India
Small software, built by the person who needed it first.
Luminovix Technologies is a micro enterprise registered in Maharashtra, India. It builds and publishes focused apps — an exam question bank, an AI dietician, a study companion — and ships them when they are actually finished rather than when they demo well.
Products
Three products, at three different stages
One is live and taking payments. Two are not finished, and are labelled as such.
- 01
BCBR Buddy
LiveA question bank for the ICMR Basic Course in Biomedical Research — 690 questions across 23 lectures, each with a worked explanation.
- 02
DietAIcian
In developmentAn AI dietician for Android, built around a safety layer that refuses an unsafe plan rather than generating one.
- 03
Make Me Study
Early buildA study companion that cuts a syllabus into 5–15 minute targets, with spaced repetition and small squads. No leaderboards, deliberately.
How we work
Three rules that survived contact with reality
Verification is the job, not the last step
A green test suite is not evidence that a product works. Before a release, the real payload goes to the real endpoint and the row it creates gets read back. Every serious defect worth remembering here passed typechecks, tests and a clean build first.
Nothing designed to manipulate
No streaks to protect, no badges, no leaderboards, no invented urgency. A feature earns its place by whether it helps someone finish what they came to do — not by whether it increases time spent in the app.
Narrow on purpose
One product holds attention at a time, and the others are described honestly as unfinished while they wait. A portfolio that claims more than it ships is a bill that comes due at the first support request.
Who is behind this
I am Sachin Jagtap. I am a postgraduate medical resident in ophthalmology, and I write software in the hours around clinical work.
Luminovix exists because the first product needed a publisher. I sat the ICMR Basic Course in Biomedical Research exam, could not find anything worth studying from, and built the question bank I wanted to have had. The company followed the product rather than the other way round.
It is a proprietorship. There is no team here, and I would rather write that plainly than imply otherwise — what it buys you is that the person who writes the code is also the person who answers the support email.
